Preparation of a New Electoral Roll 2025

Completing a form

2025 means the preparation of a brand-new parish Electoral Roll from scratch. This means a new, completed form from EVERYONE who wishes to join.

How can I join?

If you are

  • Baptised
  • 16 years or over
  • And have attended public worship in the parish over the last 6 months

You can join the electoral roll!

But what is it?

The electoral roll is a way for you to show your commitment and belonging to your parish. In short, to say ‘I belong!’

You will then be entitled to vote at the Annual General Meeting and be eligible to be elected to the Parish Council. It opens the way to greater involvement in the life of the church, from parish, via deanery and diocesan, to national level.

Please support your church by becoming a member of the Church of England electoral roll.

How do I do that?

It’s easy to complete a short tick box application form

  • Printed copies are available in church.
  • Print off the application form from the website, complete it and drop it off in church.
  • Or complete the e-form and email it to the electoral roll officer at butterflygallery788@gmail.com
  • Or complete the form and post it to Rachel Lewis, 30, Sandygate, Wath-upon-Dearne, Rotherham, South Yorkshire S63 7LW

Please note that applications must be received by 17th of April.

On behalf of your church, thank you.

Rachel Lewis
