“The Meaning of the Cross”
A day of contemplation, considering what the cross means to you and how it is essential to Christian life.
At Easter time, we Christians think about the many themes woven into our Church services and the holy scripture we read.
Central to our faith is the resurrection offered through Christ so that we may be made anew and have everlasting life. This event is an opportunity to explore what the symbol of the cross means to you.
What the Quiet Day is About
The quiet day is an opportunity to put time aside to sit quietly before God. It is about building your own individual relationship with God, and it’s a chance to look at what may be new ways of praying and seeking God.
There is no requirement to pray aloud, share anything or take part in anything that you would rather not. Mike Underwood and Andrea Burton will be available during the day for support and prayer on request.
