The Parish of Wath with Brampton is hosting a quiet day event at Christ Church, Brampton Bierlow. It is the fifth one, and there is a unique theme as usual.
Many people have enjoyed our previous quiet day events, and you’re welcome to join us and take time out to do something new and find peace in the presence of God.
God the Creator
The Almighty God is first of all The Creator, and the book of Genesis begins with the creation story and there are also many other references to God and His creation throughout the Bible.
Here is an opportunity to mull over those words and see the deeper meanings that might be revealed to you – things that are relevant to whereabouts you are on your spiritual journey.
We also offer a time of silent prayer and contemplation. With some simple words of guidance to help you to quieten the usual mind-chatter, you can then attune yourself to listen and see what God says to you.

You can arrive and leave at any time that suits you, but if you can make it for the start, you will catch the check-in and introduction.
We will serve complimentary drinks and biscuits, but you might want to bring a packed lunch too.
